Egyptian Ministry of Environment Air Pollution and Climate Change Management Project

Introduction : The Egyptian government, represented by the Ministry of Environment, has obtained funding from the World Bank for the national project "Air Pollution and Climate Change Management in Greater Cairo" to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve sustainable development goals, including reducing air pollution and combating climate change.

The main objective of this project is to reduce air emissions from vital sectors to improve air quality in Greater Cairo, and reduce carbon dioxide and short-lived climate pollutants (SLCP), which include "black carbon" and methane. The project consists of five components with the aim of reducing air pollutants and greenhouse gases from open burning of solid waste and vehicle emissions.

The project is being implemented in the geographical area of ​​Greater Cairo, which covers Cairo Governorate and urban areas in Giza Governorate and Qalyubia Governorate. 2. The project management invites your company to submit a quotation for the Purchase of PTFE (Teflon) filters for the EEAA Source Apportionment Network according to the technical specifications contained in the technical specifications’ appendix.

3. A price quote must be submitted for the items included in this invitation. The price quotes will be evaluated and the contract will be awarded to the company that offers the lowest evaluated price and the best terms for the total offer. 4.

Your quotation must be submitted in both hard and/or soft copies in accordance with the required form (a quotation request to be delivered by hand or courier to the project headquarters, 15 S. The deadline for sending price offers to the mentioned email or by hand at the project headquarters is Wednsday December 10th 2025. Quotations received after the entry or closing time will be rejected. If the closing time for submission is a holiday, the weekend will be final to the same time on the next business day.
