Liverpool Highway Improvements on Queens Drive and Surrounding Areas

Liverpool City Council is seeking a supplier to complete highway improvement works on Queens Drive.

The scope includes: • Carriageway resurfacing between its junction with Dovedale Road and Mossley Hill Drive • Upgrade of existing footways and paved areas • Upgrade of existing highway drainage network • Accessibility improvements, such as upgrade of existing pedestrian crossing facilities In addition, the project will include implementation of interventions associated with the S278 Liverpool College (off-site) highway works, including: • Carriageway resurfacing along North Mossley Hill Road • Verge protection and repair measures along Queens Drive and Aigburth Vale • Improvements to Ibbotson's Lane Public Right of Way • Traffic signal upgrades at the junction of Queens Drive / North Mossley Hill Road • Installation of a new cyclist and pedestrian crossing facility at the junction of Ibbotson's Lane and North Mossley Hill to facilitate active travel • TRO changes along Queens Drive and North Mossley Hill Road The opportunity will be competed under Lot 2 of LCC's Highway Planned Works Framework.
