Het voertuigencentrum van Stadsbeheer heeft onder zijn beheer ca. 1250 nummerplaten gaande van personenwagens, kleine bestelwagens tot meerassige vrachtwagens. Verder ook nog diverse tuigen: kranen, zelfrijdende grasmaaiers, borstelwagens, multifunctionele werktuigdragers e.d.
Om de mobiliteit van de stedelijke organisatie van Antwerpen te garanderen moet het voertuigencentrum kunnen beschikken over een leverancier die het volledig gamma banden en/of wielsets kan leveren, monteren, uitbalanceren, uitlijnen en waar van toepassing herrubberen, alsook de voor-en achteras kan uitlijnen. Vandaag werkt het voertuigencentrum met een basisstock van ca.
270 aantal banden of banden velgcombinatie die de meeste courante maten vertegenwoordigen. Op deze manier kunnen breuken of versleten banden snel vervangen worden en blijft de operationaliteit van het wagenpark gegarandeerd.
