Scope overview
Greater Wellington Regional Councils wishes to select a preferred partner/s to install firebreaks in Baring Head and Belmont Regional Park. Specifically, this work will require the Respondent to acquire, transport and install the gravel to create the firebreaks.
While the initial scope of this procurement covers the named firebreaks, there is further firebreaks required, subject to funding, which could be implemented following the completion of the Baring Heads and Belmont Regional Park works.
Respondents must be able to carry this out in accordance with best practice, while also complying with sediment control, Resource Management Act processes and health and safety requirements. Therefore, we need Respondents who understands these various requirements while also having past experience building firebreaks or similar tracks in other areas.
