Submission Closing Date: December 22, 2025. The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES).
The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Edo State Coordination Office (SCO) intends to apply a portion of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for Rehabilitation of Slaughter Slabs, Live Birds Markets and Establishment of Additional Farmer Field Schools in some selected locations of the State 2.
The Edo State L-PRES now invites seal bids from eligible bidders for the Rehabilitation of four (4) Slaughter Slabs, Three (3) Live Birds Markets and Establishment of Two (2) Additional Farmer Field Schools in some selected location of the State with a completion period of 6 (six) months 3. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Competitive Procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procuremen t Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” Revised Edition of September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”) available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 5.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Edo State Coordination Office, Edo State Agriculture Hub, Oko-Ogba Road, Airport Road, Benin City and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (local time) – Monday – Friday, at the address given below. 6.
The Bidding document is in English, may be purchase by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (NGN 50,000.00) only. The method of payment will be by bank draft or direct transfer in favour of the following Account: 0084379370, Sterling Bank, EDSG L-PRES .
Proof of payment to be presented at the address below. At the bidder’s request, the document could be sent by courier after paying an additional fee to cover the delivery cost. 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Monday, 22nd December 2025 by 12:00 pm (local time). Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below, by 12.00 noon, December 22nd , 2025. 8. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Original copy of Bid Security ” of the amount stated above 9.
Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document. 10.
