Scope overview

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) intends to enter into a contract with a single contractor for the renewal of maintenance and support (M&S) services for its perpetual software license of Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT). The period of any resulting contract will be for two (2) years with the CRA retaining the irrevocable option to extend the period of the contract for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods.

A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory evaluation criteria to be declared responsive.

The responsive bid with the lowest Bid Evaluation Price bid will be recommended for contract award.Proposal documents and supporting information must be submitted in either English or French.Questions must be directed in writing to the contracting authority via email: henrique.carrera@cra-arc.gc.caBids must be submitted by using the Connect service provided by the Canada Post Corporation.

When responding, the proposal MUST be delivered to:Canada Revenue AgencyBid Receiving UnitBRUg@cra-arc.gc.caBids will not be accepted if emailed directly to this email address. This email address must be used to request that the CRA open a Connect conversation, as detailed within Appendix 4: Standard Instructions - Goods or Services - Competitive Requirements of the Request for Proposal solicitation document.

Bidders must not use their own licensing agreement for Connect to initiate a Connect conversation with the CRA.The CRA reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement.This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers and to Suppliers of an applicable trading partner.
