REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (Consulting Service-National Position) Project Pacific Healthy Islands Transformation Project (PHIT) Assignment Title Project Coordinator The Government of the Republic of Kiribati (GOK), through the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS) has received a grant from the World Bank (WB) toward the Pacific Healthy Islands Transformation Project (PHIT) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The PHIT-MHMS now invites eligible individuals (“Consultants”) to express their interest in providing the consulting services (“the Services”) for the above-mentioned full-time based position.
The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be requested through electronic mail to procurement.officer@mhms.gov.ki and copied to barryrimatu@mhms.gov.ki The Minimum Mandatory Qualification for Selecting the Consultants are: A master’s degree in public health, medicine, business administration, management, economic development or equivalent.
At least 10 years’ experience in project management with government agencies or similar institutions, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Experience with project management in the health sector strongly preferred. Referees of the preferred candidate will be contacted to verify prior experience, performance, and character traits and a clean police record to be provided.
Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services by submission of Expression of Interest (EOI); curriculum vitae with description of experience in similar assignments and similar conditions and with supporting documents.
Expressions of interest must be submitted via electronic mail to Bwebweata Baeni at the email procurement.officer@mhms.gov.ki and copied to Barry Rimatu Project Manager barryrimatu@mhms.gov.ki by Monday December 29, 2025.
