Scope overview
** RFI Amendment 0001: Response deadline extended to 2/2/2026, no later than 3:00PM Eastern Time. All other instructions remain unchanged ** Purpose: The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of acquiring aircraft spare parts in support of a CASA/CN-235 aircraft.
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued to determine the availability of qualified sources, including small businesses, to acquire the items specified in the attached Excel file. Disclaimer: This is not a solicitation or request for quotes, and no contract will be awarded from this notice.
The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in responding to this notice or any follow-up information requests. Responses to this RFI are voluntary and will be used solely for market research purposes.
Failure to respond or submit sufficiently detailed information may result in an interested vendor not being considered a likely Offeror when making a decision on whether or how to set aside a solicitation for restricted competition. Regardless of the information submitted, the Government reserves the right to consider any arrangement as determined appropriate for this requirement.
Request for Information: Interested vendors are to review and complete the attached RFI Aircraft Spares Q&A and ROM document Columns E, G, H, I, and J. No additional supporting information is needed. Submission Instructions: No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses to this notice shall be submitted in writing.
Interested vendors are to complete the RFI Aircraft Spares Q&A and ROM document and return to Contract Specialist Mrs. Kerri Dolezal via email (Kerri.L.Dolezal@uscg.mil) with the subject line: “RFI Response – RFI Aircraft Spares” no later than the due date posted on this notice.
In the body of the email, please include the interested vendor’s name, point of contact (POC), and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) from the interested vendor’s SAM Entity Registration. Next Steps: Based on the responses of this RFI, the USCG will review the capability of sources and the range of estimated pricing to determine if a sufficient budget to fund this requirement in the future exists.
Should the USCG decide to proceed with a competitive acquisition strategy, a solicitation may be issued in the future on SAM.gov Contract Opportunities or distributed to contract holders if a strategically-sourced vehicle is deemed appropriate.
