Scope overview
Genesis operates with over one hundred direct current (DC) systems, chargers and battery banks that supply safety critical plant when mains supply is lost. Replacement projects are required across all the Genesis power schemes over the next decade.
We require a DC focused organisation/s to procure, organise manage these projects in a way that provides Genesis with the confidence to achieve the outcomes stated in this RFP. With this in mind, we are looking for experienced firms who understand these needs and have a proven track record in the management and implementation of these types of works.
There will be a focus on obtaining quality products that not only fit the needs of our power schemes but have the life and durability required for these environments. Genesis is open to new and innovative products but due to the criticality of these systems these will be carefully scrutinised on a case-by-case basis.
For clarity we are not seeking any information or responses related to the supply and installation of grid scale batteries as part of this RFP.
