Scope overview
Die zwölf Flirt Fahrzeuge der zweiten Lieferserie (RABe 526 052-063) (Flirt 2) der Schweizerischen Südostbahn AG (SOB) erreichen im Jahr 2028 die Mitte ihrer vorgesehenen Lebensdauer von 30 Jahren. Um einen uneingeschränkten Betrieb in der zweiten Lebenshälfte sicherzustellen, werden die Fahrzeuge umfassend revidiert und mit einem neuen APFZ-System ausgerüstet.
Die verbleibende Nutzungsdauer soll im Zuge dieser Massnahmen um sieben (7) Jahre verlängert werden, was einer Betriebsdauer ab Refit von insgesamt 22 Jahren entspricht.
