Scope overview
Harnett County Schools (HCS) seeks proposals for E-Rate eligible Category One Special Construction services for the installation of new single-mode fiber infrastructure to serve Flatwoods Middle School, located at 3600 US-401, Lillington, NC 27546. This procurement is for construction only.
No leased lit fiber service, recurring bandwidth, managed transport, or maintenance agreement is requested under this Form 470 posting. The purpose of this project is to construct district-controlled fiber infrastructure that will integrate into HCSs existing WAN architecture. HCS is currently under WAN contract through June 30, 2029.
This project is not intended to replace or interfere with that agreement but is part of a long-term infrastructure strategy to expand district-owned assets, enhance network resiliency, and support scalable bandwidth capacity. Agency: Harnett County School District Status: Certified
