As part of the harmonisation and optimisation of cleaning standards, the University Hospital Basel is re‑tendering the service for routine cleaning. The aim is to ensure cleaning services based on current, market‑standard methods, technologies, and processes in order to achieve a consistently high quality standard across all areas, deliver an optimal price‑performance ratio, and establish a long‑term partnership.

As part of a continuous improvement process, the University Hospital Basel has reviewed the existing cleaning services and the associated quality management and has defined the requirements that must be met in the future. These requirements form the basis of the present tender. The overarching objective is to ensure a high level of customer and user satisfaction.

The contracted provider identifies with the buildings and external sites of the University Hospital Basel and assumes full responsibility for their cleanliness as well as for professional coordination of all cleaning activities.
