Scope overview

The UK Government has committed to the delivery of HS2 Phase One, a new high-speed rail link between London and the West Midlands. The scale and complexity of the programme means that construction and future operation of HS2 will intersect heavily with the Strategic Road Network (SRN), resulting in significant design, operational and construction-related interfaces.

National Highways (NH) has defined the following assurance objectives for the construction stage of HS2 Interface team. This scope is for the addition of HS2 Interface Health & Safety Management Support to the baseline scope in the above referenced Contract.

In order to implement this additional scope (in part or in full), the impact should be agreed between National Highways and the Consultant prior to any work being undertaken.
