Scope overview
Das Land Nordrhein-Westfalen hat das Ziel, das ehrenamtliche Engagement der Bürgerinnen und Bürger zu sichern und zu fördern. Zu diesem Zweck hat das Land Nordrhein-Westfalen im Jahre 2004 eine Sammelhaftpflichtversicherung für nicht in rechtlich selbständigen Vereinigungen organisierte ehrenamtlich Tätige mit einer Personen- und Sachschadendeckung von jeweils 2 Mio. EUR abgeschlossen.
Mitversichert im Rahmen jenes Vertrages ist die gesetzliche Haftpflicht wegen Vermögensschäden nur in sehr eingeschränktem Umfang. Wegen der zusätzlichen Risiken gerade von Vermögensschäden im Betreuungsbereich wurde aufbauend auf den bisherigen Versicherungsschutz zusätzlich ab dem 01.07.2007 eine Sammelvermögensschadenhaftpflichtversicherung für ehrenamtliche Betreuer, für Vormünder und Pfleger abgeschlossen.
Zum 01.07.2026 wird diese Leistung neu ausgeschrieben.
