Lo scopo del mandato è garantire il mantenimento della piena funzionalità ed efficienza del sistema di raccolta e smaltimento delle acque meteoriche della rete stradale della Città di Lugano, mediante la pulizia sistematica e programmata dei pozzetti stradali sull’intero comprensorio comunale, al fine di prevenire intasamenti, allagamenti e disagi alla circolazione veicolare e pedonale.
La commessa concerne la pulizia completa dei pozzetti stradali e lo smaltimento del materiale aspirato, nel rispetto delle disposizioni emanate dalle autorità cantonali, su tutto il territorio comunale, per un quantitativo di circa 10'000 pozzetti per ogni ciclo di pulizia annuale.
