Scope overview
In keeping with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other Federal, State and local requirements, the Department of Social Services, the Human Resources Administration, and the Department of Homeless Services (DSS/HRA/DHS) is seeking to procure both video and in-person sign language interpretation services.
DSS/HRA/DHS is seeking a provider who can offer American Sign Language (ASL), trilingual (English/Spanish/ASL) and Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDIs). Anticipated Contract Term: 1/1/2026 - 12/31/2030. Anticipated Funding: $955,000. Anticipated number of contracts:1. Questions regarding this RFx must be transmitted in writing to the Agency Contact Person, Cheryl Wertz at wertzc@dss.nyc.gov.
Questions received prior to the Pre-Proposal Conference will be answered at the conference. Responses to questions addressed at the conference and those received subsequently will shared in an addendum to the Citywide Bidder s List through the PASSPort System. To respond to this RFx, organizations must have an account in PASSPort. Proposals will ONLY be accepted through PASSPort.
