4 CARes/NCB/01/2025 The Government of Guyana (GOG) has received funding through payments earned for climate services under its agreement with the Government of Norway and intends to use part of the funds to execute the Coastal Adaptation and Resilience (CARes) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Lot 1-Drainage Intervention - Rehabilitation of Sluices, Region No.

6 Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

A complete set of bidding documents on flash Drive (in PDF) in English may be obtained at a non-refundable cost of G$5,000 by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given below. The Commencement date for the inspection/acquisition of bidding documents is 25 June, 2025 . Upon request, local prospective bidders will be sent a copy of the bidding documents free of cost via email.

All bidders must place their bids together with the bid securities before 9:00 hours on Thursday July 24, 2025 at 9:00am in the tender box of the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board and addressed to the Chairman, NPTAB, Ministry of Finance, Main and Urquhart Streets, Georgetown.

The submission of all bids must be in accordance with the instructions given in the Instructions to Bidders (ITB) of the Bidding Documents. Bids shall clearly marked “Lot 1-Drainage Intervention - Rehabilitation of Sluices, Region No. 6” on the inner and outer envelopes.
