Canadian Defence Department Seeks White Smoke Pots for Military Training

NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below: GSIN: N1040 – Chemical Weapons and Equipment, Flame Throwers, and Smoke Generators UNSPSC: 46100000 – Light weapons and ammunition Description: Smoke Pot 3 Minute White A requirement exists to resupply the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) with the Smoke Pot 3 Minute White.

The Smoke Pot 3 Minute White is designed for use in firefighter training, as a wind drift indicator and testing of ventilation systems. It is also used in signaling aircraft, ships and personnel on the ground.
