Scope overview
The Department of Homeless Services ( DHS ) has awarded a Sole Source License Agreement to the YMCA of Greater New York ( Licensee ), whose address is 5 West 63 rd St, 6 th Floor, New York, NY 10023, for the operation, management and maintenance of the Park Slope Armory indoor athletic facility and community center, located at 361 15 th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
The concession, which was awarded by a 1-16 Different Procedure method, will provide for a ten (10) year initial term, commencing upon notice to proceed, with a renewal option of up to ten (10) additional years . Compensation to the City will be as follows: the Licensee will be required to reinvest any revenues into the operation, management, and maintenance of the facility.
For any revenues in excess of those costs, the Licensee shall annually deposit the greater of $50,000 (compounded annually at 5%) or 20% of total operating net revenue, into a separate, interest-bearing account to be used for future operating and capital improvements.
