Dunedin City Council Seeks Contractor for Toddlers Pool Upgrade at St Clair Pool

Dunedin City Council (DCC) provides aquatics facilities for the use and enjoyment of its residents and rate payers. This includes a Hot Salt Water Pool facility in St Clair (St Clair Pool). The toddlers pool at this facility requires upgrading. Design work has been completed, and a Main Contractor is required to undertake the works.

We want to partner with a Main Contractor to deliver the physical upgrade works of the toddlers pool at St Clair Pool. Works will be undertaken during the �off season� and will need to be completed within DCC timelines to ensure the pool can be opened as planned for the Summer 2022 season.

Works include: � Extension/ replacement of the existing toddlers pool in line with designs already procured � Improving access to the toddlers pool � Replacement of the toddlers pool heating and filtration system � Works associated with connecting the St Clair Pool to an upgraded electrical transformer Works are to be undertaken �off season� whilst the pool is closed, it is essential that works are complete so that the pool can open as planned for the 2022 Season on 1 October 2022.

Specific (penalty) clauses, to be negotiated, will be included within the contract to ensure delivery within the stipulated timeline. This is a contract requirement. Only suppliers who can meet this timeline are encouraged to bid.
