Scope overview

New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) invites nonprofit providers and academic institutions to submit proposals to receive funding from the Staten Island North Shore Workforce Fund (the Fund). The objective is to award monetary support to scale current and future workforce programs serving young adults in the North Shore of Staten Island.

By providing flexible funding for capacity-building activities, NYCEDC will enable local organizations to design and implement effective workforce programs that respond to the communitys needs.

NYCEDC plans to select multiple nonprofit providers and/or academic institutions on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the experience and qualifications of respondents, the program vision, the program feasibility, and the program outcomes. An optional informational session will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:00A.M. virtually.

Respondents may submit questions and/or request clarifications from NYCEDC. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP should be directed to SINSworkforcefund@edc.nyc. Answers to all questions will be posted by Friday, March 13, 2026, to https://edc.nyc/rfps. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP will not be accepted after 5:00P.M.
