Sophos MDR or equivalent is a fully managed cybersecurity service designed to help organizations detect and respond to advanced threats that bypass traditional security controls. In a school setting, where IT teams often operate with limited resources, MDR services offer a vital layer of protection to secure sensitive student data, staff information, and digital learning platforms.
Our goal is to ensure the safety, privacy, and uninterrupted access to technology resources used by students, faculty, and administrative staff.
We utilize (or are planning to implement) an MDR solution such as Sophos MDR to: Continuously monitor endpoints, servers, and network activity Detect and respond to cyber threats in real time, including ransomware, phishing, unauthorized access, and zero-day attacks Comply with regulations such as FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act), CIPA (Children’s Internet Protection Act), and other state/local mandates Supplement the capabilities of our IT team with analysis and response Provide incident investigation and root cause analysis when alerts or breaches are detected Agency: Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) Status: Certified
