KE-KWALE COUNTY-517478-GO-RFB DATE OF ISSUE 27th October, 2025 The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Kenya Marine Fisheries and Socioeconomic Development Project (KEMFSED), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Offshore Fishing Boats in two lot The Fisheries and Blue Economy (County Department) now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Delivery of Offshore Fishing Boats; 3.Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Fifth Edition September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Bids must be deposited into the tender box located inside Kemfsed County Procurement office, Msambweni in Kwale county to be received on or before 26th November 2025 at 11.00 hrs.

Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 26th November 2025 at 11.00 hrs. EAT (Local Time). All bids must be accompanied by bid security of, issued by a reputable Bank in Kenya shillings Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand (KES. 2,500,000) in Kenya Shillings Only which must remain in full force and effect up to and including 28 days after the date of expiration of the Bid validity. NB: Insurance Bond will not be accepted . 8.
Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document 9.
