Steel Cupboards for Welfare Benefits Information Units at District and Divisional Secretariats Social Protection Project Welfare Benefits Board Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development Credit No: 7363-LK Project ID: P 178973 The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received a credit from the International Development Association(World Bank) toward the cost of Social Protection Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Supply and Delivery of Steel Cupboards for Welfare Benefits Information Units at Districts and Divisional Secretariats- Ref.
No: LK-WBB-515627-GO-RFB The Chairman, Project Procurement Committee (PPC) on behalf of the Social Protection Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Supply and Delivery of 365 numbers Steel Cupboards for Welfare Benefits Information units at District and Divisional Secretariats. Manufacturers or Suppliers of Steel Cupboards are invited to submit their bids for this procurement.
The selected Supplier shall supply and deliver 365 Steel Cupboards to 365 locations across the island within a period of four (04) months. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Method. A Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for December 01,2025, at 10.00 am, at the Social Protection Project, J.R. Jayawardena Centre, No: 191, Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 07.
The Project encourage bidder’s representatives to attend this meeting to clarify any details required.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Specialist by 077-3914120 and email ajanthagalhena5@gmail.com and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 2025.11.20 to 205.12.11 f rom 9.00 am to 4.00pm during working days A margin of preference for eligible locally produced goods offered shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee Sri Lanka Rupees Five Thousand (SL Rs: 5,000.00). The method of payment will be Cash . Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 2.00 pm on 12.12.2025. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person or on-line at the address below at 2.00pm on 12.12.2025.
