Scope overview

The MCA had a requirement for a contract to provide an IT managed service to the newly developed SMarT application to ensure that the services are secure and functional and maintained. A 2-year contract has been let for the provision of an IT Managed Service including support and maintenance, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Service Requests for the SMarT portal.

Two 12-month optional extensions have been included in the contract. Provision for continual improvement packages to be costed and agreed on a case-by-case basis. An allowance of £200k has been allowed within the contract, in addition to the 2-year fixed price. This opportunity was open to all suppliers under Lot 3d of the Crown Commercial Service's Technology Services 3 framework (RM6100).
