Scope overview

24ZSEIT19801 - Q-Flow solution is a critical part of the day-to-day operations at DHS intake sites. The ticketing systems provides the intake operations with a smooth and orderly flow of operations. With the influx of Asylum seekers, and the overwhelming need for housing in NYC, Intake and Shelter locations have an unprecedent amount of homeless people seeking shelter at DHS.

The use of Q-Flow solution allows social service staff to do their work more effectively. In the Intake and Shelter locations client placements take several hours and clients move around to different floors in the building making it hard for the staff to know how many clients are still in need of shelter placement as the day progresses.

The software support is to help with the client routing and identifying who is remaining in the building to be placed in shelter for that night. There is a city mandate that clients be placed before a certain hour of the night, this solution allows reporting which gives the intake staff insight into which families need immediate placements so they can meet that city requirement.
