Scope overview

Creative New Zealand the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa (CNZ) wishes to call for proposals from suitable contractors to research, design and deliver capability resources that support the arts sector to implement the principles and practice guidelines of CNZ�s Remuneration Policy, published in March 2022.

These resources will build upon the key findings in CNZ�s Remuneration Policy and respond to the needs of artists and arts practitioners in the current climate, supporting their career sustainability and improving their financial resilience. This will be the first resource of its kind delivered by CNZ dedicated to the implementation of these principles and best practice guidelines.

We do not currently provide these types of capability services although we are aware that some resources of this kind exist separately within the sector. Questions for submission and response open from 27/03/2023. The deadline for questions is 5pm, 13/04/2023, and CNZ will answer these questions no later than 5pm, 19/04/2023.
