Sole Source Contract for Industrial Machinery Parts Procurement

MCIPAC Regional Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to: SHIBAMOTO & CO.,LTD. 1-12, MINATO 1-CHOME, CHUO-KU, 104-0043 JPN This procurement action is being conducted under FAR part 13.106-1(b).

The proposed award is for purcashing The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333924 This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOls), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone inquiries will be accepted.

No contract award will be made on the basis of EOls, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient to determine that a comparable source to the government is available.

A determination by the government has been made to not compete this proposed contract based upon any responses to this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. An award shall be made to SHIBAMOTO & CO.,LTD. All questions concerning this notice must be received within (7) calendar days from the date of this notice. DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES Test and certification of crane weights 0.5-ton to 2.5-tons.

The requested service must abide by the standerd set forth in the NAVFAC P-307 Section 4-12 p61. The test weights that must be supplied to the Government are as listed. .5-ton weights 1 each 1.0-ton weights 4 each 2.0-ton weight 2 each 2.5- ton weight 5 each Estimated Deliver Date: 1 March 2026
