Scope overview
Beschafft werden soll ein 4-Spitzen-Rastertunnelmikroskopie-System (TT-4ppSTM), bei dem die Spitzen mithilfe eines Rasterelektronenmikroskops (SEM) nanometergenau positioniert werden können.
Das System erlaubt hochpräzise Annäherungen zur Erzeugung stabiler, rauscharmer Tunnel-, Kraft-, Josephson-, Quantenpunkt- und ohmscher Kontakte für nanoelektromechanische Transportmessungen an komplexen Quantensystemen und Nanostrukturen. Es arbeitet unter Ultrahochvakuum und bei tiefen Temperaturen (LHe) und ist kompatibel mit bestehenden Probenaufnahme- und Transfersystemen.
Zusätzlich können optische Fasern präzise positioniert werden, um opto-elektrische Messungen zu ermöglichen.
