Scope overview
IVVO is een intercommunale die 12 gemeentes vertegenwoordigt met ca. 145.000 inwoners. IVVO exploiteert in Ieper een GFT vergistingsinstallatie. Deze installatie verwerkt GFT afval welke huis-aan-huis wordt ingezameld. Het GFT afval wordt er via een natte mesofiele vergisting verwerkt. Het digestaat afkomstig van de vergisting wordt in de nacompostering verwerkt tot compost die voldoet aan de Vlaco normen.
Het project heeft betrekking op het ontwerpen en realiseren van de optimalisatie van de bestaande vergisters. Voor voorliggend project (= fase 2) is een capaciteitsuitbreiding niet het doel, maar wel het vergroten van de flexibiliteit (oppervlakte, verblijftijd) bij de verwerking van de bestaande capaciteit . Het project ‘Vergister 3 (= fase 2) bestaat uit 1 perceel.
