Scope overview

USAR search and rescue cameras are used to inspect voids and confined spaces that have limited physical access for signs of survivors and or victims following natural or man-made disasters. Fire and Emergency New Zealand are looking to establish a contract with a provider to provide Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) up to six fit for purpose replacement search and rescue cameras over a three-year period.

The requirement includes ongoing servicing and repairs as well as the ability to purchase any further cameras on an as required basis. We do not want standard photographic cameras.
