Scope overview
NHS London Procurement Partnership is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to provide a compliant procurement route for Waste Management Services to the NHS and other public sector organisations.
This will encompass Collection, transport, treatment, recycling, processing and disposal as appropriate, of healthcare and general waste including domestic, recyclable, clinical, hazardous, offensive, pharmaceutical, toxic, radioactive and biological waste streams. The DPS will be split into lots to include specific waste streams, integrated waste management and bespoke treatment options.
See documentation for full details, NHS LPP may add further specialist lots later in the lifetime of the DPS. This will be determined by the needs of our membership and the development of the market. It is not possible at this stage to precisely define all possibilities however. The DPS will cover all regions in England and the wider UK - see documentation for details.
NHS LPP is using the Health Family Atamis e-tendering portal to conduct the procurement process ("the e-Tendering Portal").
