AMENDMENT 04: This amendment is to amend the PWS to remove Bldg 1160 and add that work shall be performed by a National Institute for Certifying Engineering Technicians (NICET).
SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, tools, equipment, supervision, administration, chemicals, parts and other items necessary to inspect, test and maintain the wet and dry chemical fire suppression systems at various locations on Peterson SFB, Colorado, as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS), Section V, Technical Exhibit 1 (TE-1).
The Contractor shall conform to all federal, state, local requirements; Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and applicable manufacture standards as required in the PWS.
Work must be performed in accordance with (IAW) the Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-2001-Fire Emergency Services Program; Air Force Consolidated Occupational Safety Standard; and Codes of Federal Regulations (CFR) 29 CFR and 40 CFR; the current edition of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 17, Standard For Dry Chemical Extinguishing Systems; NFPA 17A, Standard For Wet Chemical Extinguishing Systems; NFPA 70, National Electric Code; NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm Code; and NFPA 96, Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations.
The Contractor shall comply with local, state and federal laws and regulations regarding transportation and handling of compressed gasses and extinguishing system chemical agents.
