Scope overview
The district is seeking proposals for a modern, enterprise-class backup and data recovery solution to protect approximately 110 workloads (e.g., virtual machines, servers) and ensure our resiliency against ransomware and other cyber incidents. This service is a key component of our incident response strategy.
The solution must support daily, routine data backups to a secure, cloud-based, or off-site system that provides encrypted, immutable backups and allows for the rapid restoration of services to limit downtime.
The District intends to procure the requested products and/or services utilizing an existing Washington State interlocal agreement (State Contract) or cooperative purchasing contract (piggyback), in compliance with applicable state law and district policy.
Acceptable cooperative agreements include, but are not limited to: Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES), TCPN, US Communities, WSCA, KPN, SIPC, TIPS, KCDA, and WSIPC. Vendors must clearly identify the cooperative contract under which pricing is proposed and provide documentation verifying the District’s eligibility to purchase through that contract.
