Scope overview
Ofgem's compliance team manages a high volume of queries relating to two schemes, the Renewables Obligation ("RO") scheme and the Feed-In Tariffs ("FIT") scheme. Currently, Ofgem staff manage these queries across several different systems, including a shared inbox, a Microsoft SharePoint site and the Central FIT Register (an online portal that allows communication with suppliers).
Ofgem would like to improve the efficiency of the query process by creating a 'library' of common queries with links to external guidance and previous responses that the compliance team can consult, rather than immediately reaching out to subject matter experts. This should be in the form of a single page Power App (web platform) that displays the queries in simple tabular format.
The data will need to be stored in a back-end system that can only be managed by a system administrator (i.e. cannot be added, edit or deleted by a normal user in the Power App's front end). Support from a supplier is required to do so.
