Diga Woreda finance/agriculture and land office now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors licensed in waterworks , to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for the construction and completion of the above Site project in 120 days 4.

Bidders should fulfill the following requirements & other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance( the following are some of them but not the only required evidences): Domestic bidders shall have a certificate of competency from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction or Regional Construction Authorities in water works renewed for the bidding period(2018E.C) Commercial Registration Certificate, Renewed Trade license for the bidding period(2018 E.C), Tax clearance certificate TIN and VAT registration certificate Copy of Tax Payer registration Certificate Copy of Value Added Tax Registration Certificate One Original & one copy of both Technical and Financial documents Contractors who are intending to bid by forming an association (Joint Venture), each applicant or partner of a joint venture must purchase and collect the Request for bid document, prepared by the Woreda for this particular bid.

5. Bidding will be conducted through a Request for Bid (RFB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations. 6. Interested, eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Diga Woreda Finance Office, Goround floor Room No 1, during Office hours. 7.

A complete set of Request for Bid documents in the English Language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 700 ( seven hundred birr ) starting from date this request for bid is announced on Herald news at working hours. 8.

The bidding procedure to be followed is a single-stage, two-envelope procedure. Bidders are required to submit one Original and one copies of each of the Technical Proposal and the Financial Proposal.The Technical Proposal shall include the wax-sealed one Original& one copy of technical proposal and the Bid Security (CPO), each placed in a separate envelope.

These ( original technical,copy technical & CPO) envelopes shall then be enclosed together in one larger envelope clearly marked “Technical Proposal.” The Financial Proposal shall include the wax-sealed one Original financial proposal, one copy of financial proposal & cost break down each placed in a separate envelope. These shall then be enclosed in one larger envelope clearly marked “Financial Proposal.” 9.

Finally, the entire set of documents-both the Technical Proposal and the Financial Proposal-shall be enclosed in a single wax-sealed outer envelope, which shall clearly bear all necessary information regarding the Bidder, the employer, and the relevant Project details. 10.

Bids must be delivered(submitted) to the address below on or before February 3,2026,10:00 A.M.or 26/05/2018 E.C @ 4:00 A.M LT to Diga Woreda Finace Office,Ground Floor Room no1.Electronic Bid submission will not be permitted. Late Bids will not be accepted. 11. Bids will be opened in the presence Bidders’ representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at 10:30 A.M.

on date February 3,2026(26/05/2018E.C @ 4:30 A.M) at Diga Woreda Finace Office Ground Floor Room No1. 12. Bids shall be valid for 90 days after the bid closing period. 13.
