  • Nole Kaba Woreda Finance Office/ Agriculture and Land Office intends to apply parts of allocated budget of Food System Resilience Program financed by the World Bank (IDA) toward the cost of the Construction Kobolo Rehabilitation SSIP, Nole Kaba Woreda, West Wolega Zone, and intends to apply part of the allocated budget toward payments under the contract for this construction works.
  • The Nole Kaba Woreda Finance /Agriculture and Land Office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for construction of below Kobo Rehabilitation SSI Site projects. The names, location, amount of bid security, are indicated in the table below.

  • The Nole Kaba Woreda Finance /Agriculture and Land Office , now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors of Category WWC and GC and above, to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for the construction and completion of the above Site projects.
  • Invited Bidders should fulfill the following requirements & other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance;
  • Domestic bidders shall have a certificate of competency from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction, Ministry of Water and energy, Rigional Water and Energy Bureau or Regional Construction Authorities with Category GC and WWC, renewed for the bidding period,
  • Commercial Registration Certificate,
  • Renewed Trade license for the bidding period,
  • Tax clearance certificate which is valid for bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender,
  • TIN and VAT registration certificate and
  • Copy of Tax Payer registration Certificate
  • Copy of Value Added Tax Registration Certificate
  • Original Technical and Financial Offer
  • Contractors who are intending to bid by forming an association (Joint Venture), each applicant or partner of a joint venture must purchase and collect the Request for Quotation document, prepared by the Woreda for this particular bid.
  • Bidding will be conducted through a Request for Bid (RFB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.
  • Interested, eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Nole Kaba Woreda Finance Office, No. 1 Room, during Office hours.
  • A complete set of Request for Quotation documents in the English Language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 500(Five hundred ). starting from 26/12/2025. at working hours.
  • The bidding procedure to be followed is a single-stage, two-envelope procedure . Bidders are required to submit Original and one photo copies of each Technical Proposal and the Financial Proposal.The Technical Proposal shall include the wax-sealed Original, Photocopy, and the Bid Security (CPO), each placed in a separate envelope . These envelopes shall then be enclosed together in one larger envelope clearly marked “Technical Proposal.” The Financial Proposal shall include the wax-sealed Original and Photocopy each placed in a separate envelope. These shall then be enclosed in one larger envelope clearly marked “Financial Proposal.”
  • Finally, the entire set of documents-both the Technical Proposal and the Financial Proposal-shall be enclosed in a single wax-sealed outer envelope, which shall clearly bear all necessary information regarding the Bidder, the Employer, and the relevant Project details Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 5/2/2026 on 10:00 A.M, and must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand ETB) in the form of a (CPO) or an Unconditional and irrevocable Bank Guarantee only. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
  • Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at 10:30 A.M., on 5/2/2026. at the offices of Nole Kaba Woreda Finance Office Room No.1.
  • Bids shall be valid for 60 days after the bid closing period.
  • Nole kaba Woreda Finance office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
