Det dynamiske indkøbssystem anvendes til gennemførelse af konkrete entrepriseopgaver, der udbydes særskilt i miniudbud. Opgaverne kan blandt andet omfatte jordarbejder, udgravning og etablering af vandhuller, anlæg af erstatningsnatur, herunder naturgenopretning og biodiversitetstiltag, samt etablering af ledebeplantning i form af træer, buske og øvrig beplantning.
Arbejderne kan indgå som led i opfyldelse af myndighedskrav, miljøkompensation, infrastrukturanlæg eller andre projekter under Vejdirektoratets ansvarsområde. For hver enkelt entrepriseopgave gennemfører Vejdirektoratet et miniudbud, hvor opgavens indhold, omfang og vilkår fastlægges nærmere.
