Scope overview
The Municipality of Cayey, Puerto Rico, is seeking bids for eligible E-Rate Category One internet access services to support eleven (11) entities located within the municipality. These entities include a combination of public schools with libraries, standalone public libraries, cultural centers with library facilities, and a family service center with a library component.
Currently, ten (10) entities are registered and participating under the Municipalitys E-Rate program. An additional eleventh (11th) eligible entity is expected to be added during this funding cycle. Vendors should therefore prepare proposals that account for service to eleven (11) locations within the Municipality of Cayey, Puerto Rico. All locations are within the Municipality of Cayey.
The requested service is reliable broadband internet connectivity to support educational, informational, and community services provided at these facilities. The Municipality is not issuing a separate RFP for this procurement. Vendors should submit bids in accordance with FCC E-Rate program rules and requirements.
