- The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of Safety and construction Materials
- Bishoftu City Administration Finance Office now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for;-

- Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB)as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers : Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Bishoftu City Administration Finance office at Bishoftu city Administration 2nd floor Room No 2 Bishoftu City Administration finance office Department of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:30 AM– 5:30 PM at the address given below.
- The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 2000 Birr. The method of payment will be in Bank and by name of Bishoftu city Municipality sinqee Bank Act No 1054598940114 . The document will be sent by /delivered/ on hand.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before February 25/2026 at 2:00 PM and will be open the at same day at 2:30 PM on Announcement of the Ethiopian addis Zemen . . Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below striate address at the end of this invitation and also bidders should submit sealed bid documents containing one original and one copy.
- All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security “CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee issued by the Bank for Procurement of safety Lot 1 —250,000 Birr Procurement of Hand tools Lot-2 15,000Birr Procurement of Industrial construction material lot-1 170,000 Birr and Procurement of finishing material Lot-2 45,000 Birr and Procurement of Local construction material Lot-3 120,000 Birr from a reputable Bank prepared in the name of Bishoftu City Administration Finance office only for each lots separately.
