Scope overview
Pursuant to Sections 04(2)(i)(D) and 3-04(2)(ii) of the Procurement Policy Board Rules, the Department of Sanitation intends to enter into a Negotiated Acquisition Contract with Castle Gate Engineering PC for the Upgrade of Container Transport System at Hamilton and Northshore Marine Transfer Stations.
The value of the Negotiated Acquisition would be approximately $15 million for a three-year duration, with the option for one two-year renewal. The anticipated start date for this contract is September 15, 2025.
The agency has determined a Negotiated Acquisition procurement with Castle Gate would serve the City s best interests by ensuring next generation shuttle carts are operable in a timely manner to not impact operations at the Marine Transfer Stations. This notice is for information purposes only.
